Synopsis

Charvi Carlisle and her sister Maliha have found themselves in New Orleans. The reason for that being the pull Charvi has felt to the city and more than that, to the Original family that now resides within the city. She's been told they were meant to work together to defeat a great evil coming. However, fighting together may not have been the only reason the families have allied.

Klaus Mikaelson had one goal in New Orleans, that the city back from Marcel. It was the only thing he wanted to do while putting the younger vampire in his place. Finding an enticing little witch he might want for more than the power she possessed was not on his list of things to do, but her finds that to be the case when his their families ally themselves.

Elijah Mikaelson his doing what he always has, preforming his brotherly duty, being Niklaus' keeper. With his brother's singular goal of taking back New Orleans and making Marcel bow to him, he didn't anticipate having time for much else. Let alone meeting the most beautiful woman he'd seen in his existence. It's soon made clear to him that he isn't the only one admiring her, and while they fight against an unknown threat and Marcel, Elijah must decide if he wants to fight a different kind of battle on the home front.

(This fic will not follow the storyline or plot of the show as I have only seen about eight episodes of it. You can read this without having seen the show.)

This fanfiction is loosely based on the Originals, and I do mean very loosely as I've only seen the first eight episodes of the show, and some YouTube clips. A major change: there is no baby in this telling. No pregnant Hayley etc. If you're looking for that, it isn't present.
